Am 4. und 5. Mai 2022 findet das erste Mal der WOF Summit in Wien statt. Dieses neue Format hat vor allem den osteuropäischen Raum im Fokus und soll für die Logistikbranche eine Brücke zwischen Ost- und Westeuropa bilden. Diese Messe hat 2021 erstmals mit großem Erfolg in Bratislava stattgefunden. Für 2022 ist vom 12. und 13. Oktober 2022 noch eine weitere Veranstaltung in Prag geplant.
Sebastian Kummer von der WU Wien wird das Thema Human Resources – Logistics Leadership of Tomorrow beleuchten. Bei der Veranstaltung in Wien, bilden auch Frauen eine wichtige Zielgruppe. Sandra Eitler von der FH des BFI Wien wird zum Thema Opportunities and Challenges for Women in Supply Chain am 5. Mai 2022 einen Vortrag halten. Den Abschluss bildet Walter Holzhammer, Vertreter des Hafen Antwerpen mit dem topaktuellen Thema Resilience of global supply chains: Challenges and solutions.
